1997 Mazda 626
In 1997, the 626 did not undergo any major revisions. There are four trim levels
offered: the base DX, the LX, LX-V6 and the ES. The 626 has been Mazda's top selling
car for many years now and it's easy to see why this is so. Though it is not the
most spacious and most unique member of the mid size segment, its can still compete
head-to-head with the segments top-selling models.The 1997 Mazda 626 offers a
neat and nicely-proportioned design though the drawback is its being quite indistinct
from other models in its class.
The interior room doesn't disappoint as well, and offers a comfortable ride suitable
for families which are the main market for the mid-size sedan segment. Ride quality
is good. The v6 and the 5-speed manual overdrive transmission offer competent
performance and energetic acceleration. The Mazda 626 continues to be Mazda's
top-selling automobile with the 1997 model. The 626 will be all new for the 1998
model year.
